Quanta STRATOS S210-X12MS is Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 product family-based server platform optimized for the demands of the densest datacenter environments. While it trims and streamlines the system functions specifically for high performance, cost-effectiveness and power-efficiency, the system boosts its general performance by up to 80% and enables up to 2 times better technical computing performance with Intel® AVX technology over a previous generation Intel® Xeon® processor-based server, making it a perfect solution for datacenters requiring floating point/ HPC performance. Maximum Computing Performance with Low Energy Draw Quanta STRATOS S210- X12MS is a dense 2-socket rackmount server, supporting up to 8-core Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 product family and 16 DDR3 DIMMs in 1U space. The S210-X12MS enables up to 2 times better technical computing performance with Intel® AVX and new Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, while getting up to 50% more performance per watt than previous generations. In addition, it supports low-voltage DIMMs, lowering datacenter operation cost with the least energy consumption. High Storage Flexibility In the 1U chassis, the STRATOS S210-X12MS provides choices of 4 x 3.5¿ or 10 x 2.5¿ hot-plug hard drives. Datacenters could choose different levels of storage from 3Gb/ 6Gb SATA/ SAS HDD or SSD drives to create optimal storage solutions for different applications. The S210-X12MS also offers SATADOM option for OS installation.
